The Love of a Woman
"I was asleep, but my heart waked:
I heard my beloved knocking, I heard his voice...
'Open to me, my sister, my bride...'
My heart within me was moved...
I opened to my deloved."
-Song of Songs-
"No more be grieved at that which thou hast done.
Roses have thorns, and silver fountains mud
clouds and eclipses stain both moon and sun,
and loathsome canker lives in sweetest bud."
-Shakespeare-
The Love of a Man
"Set me as a seal upon thine heart,
As a seal upon thine arm:
For love is strong as death;
Its heat is the heat of fire.
Many waters cannot quench love,
Neither can the loods drown it."
-The Song of Songs-
"Such is my love, to thee I so belong,
That for thy right myself will bear all wrong."
-Shakespeare-
Tiistai illan ratoksi päätin askarrella pienet sisustustaulut. Taulujen runot olen pelastanut vanhan kirjan sivuilta, jonka kohtaloksi oli päätyä askartelu materiaaliksi. Kirjan elämää nähneet sivut ja runot tekivät minuun vaikutuksen. Valmiit taulut odottavat enää paikkaa mihin ripustaisin ne.
